The ChallengeDue to the nature of their widespread organization, having efficient methods of data management is imperative. Using the SharePoint platform allows Sandals to store data, collaborate on it and keep things organized and easily accessible. With thousands of users, a database originally built in 2003, and complex systems, Sandals wanted to ensure that their tools were fully integrated into the business and current organizational goals. SimpleSharepoint was engaged to help Sandals transition with a new SharePoint farm, and begin to move away from file shares without disruption.
We installed a SharePoint three-tier farm, built a project management app, built a portal "Sandals 360" and customized it to meet their organizational goals while providing technical guidance for design and training for roll-out. The Application Services Team at SimpleSharepoint sent weekly updates to Sandals, keeping them informed of progress and next steps throughout the project.
A well-received portal immediately accepted for employee lookup, and communications and collaboration.
